I’ve only ever done book tags on Instagram so welcome to my first blog book tag! The first one I wanted to try was the ‘Am I a Guilty Reader Tag?’. It was created from a gorgeous booktuber who I’ve met and has a beautiful soul called Chami from IsThatChami. You can find the original tag from this video right HERE.
Let’s get on with the tag! Am I a guilty reader?
Have You Ever Regifted A Book That You’ve Been Given?
Erm…no. I don’t get gifted book very often and if I have I have not regifted them.
Have you ever said you’ve read a book when you haven’t?
Yes. Hello, boring times in High School! The whole class said they had read Romeo and Juliet, did we actually though?
Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it?
No! I have always returned my library books and I have never borrowed books from someone else.
Have you ever read a series out of order? Have you ever spoiled a book for someone?
I may have accidentally spoiled some stuff every now and then but nothing major! And no, I’ve always read books in their proper order (god forbid, my anxiety would catapult).
Have you ever doggy eared a book?
No. Never. I could never hurt my books, even when I was younger and I read a book so many times the spine broke.
Have you ever told someone you don’t own a book when you do?
Hm…no. I don’t see any reason why.
Have you ever told someone you haven’t read a book when you have?
I’ll say yes because there are so many books I’ve read that I literally don’t remember anything about, so I’ve probably said yes, I haven’t read it yet, which is…partly true.
Have you ever skipped a chapter or a section of a book?
I do it ALL THE TIME – when I’m rereading a book. When reading for the first time, however, very very unlikely.
Have you ever bad mouthed a book you actually liked?
I think everyone has badmouthed twilight at one stage or another, it was like a stage of grief for me. I don’t think it’s a horrible book but at its declining stage, I did agree to some not so nice things about it.
And that’s that! I guess I’m not really a guilty reader. The question is, are you a guilty reader?
