The Tome Topple Readathon begins tonight! …and I have failed my goal to read certain books before this deadline. Why didn’t I see this coming? xD
I have put Nevermoor on hold and I’m trying to get through Clockwork Angel asap, but never fear! I am starting the lovely readathon with the gorgeous contemporary by Morgan Matson – The Unexpected Everything.
ANYWAY – to celebrate the start of the readathon, here are 3 TOMES I OWN and really do want to read, no matter how many times they get pushed down the tbr hole. Do you own a lot of books with over 500 pages though? Let me know in the comments!
A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
One of my possible readathon contenders, this bad boy is pretty big at 688 pages. I’ve been craving it lately too now that the tv show has come out and has one of my favourite actresses in its main cast: Teresa Palmer (Aussie Represent).
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Ayedemi
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll know that this big book of 525 pages is constantly getting pushed down my tbr. It’s sad I know but let’s all be welcoming to people’s reading habits ok. I’ve become a bit of a mood reader 😛
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
One of my absolute favourite books ever, The Host is a big book of 620 pages, which holds a big part of my heart. It’s just an amazing book I hope that everyone reads one day, no matter what their expectations. It is nothing like Twilight and I’ve been craving a reread of it lately too!
What big books/tomes do you own and want to read soon?
Thanks for reading and wish me luck & determination for the readathon!
xx Tracy

Children of Blood and Bone was such an amazing book. I’ve wanted to read The Host for awhile but I always push it down the list further because a sequel never got made. I might have to try it at some point. http://www.tbrandbeyond.com

A Discovery of Witches has been on my TBR since it came out! Its length is a bit intimidating! I’m determined to read it this year though because I’ve started recording the TV series. Nothing like a book adaptation to promp you to read a book. š
