Tome Topple Readathon, November & Spring Wrap-Up

I disappeared for a while. I know, I’m sorry but the end of this month is the end. The end of the blog and reading slump tyranny. To be fair – I wasn’t actually slumping. I had things going on in my personal life and it happens, life happens, s#!t happens. So here is my sad yet still ok wrap up.

I’m pretty proud of how much of I read this month, even though it is always a bit disappointing when I consider how much more I could’ve read. I’ve noticed a trend where at the start of the month, I am smashing through books left and right and then towards the end of the month, it spirals down haha but I’m still proud of myself. Never ever sell yourself short because the fact that anyone can finish a book is just as important as anyone reading in the first place. Here’s to hoping that December is a better month where I have even more amazing reads as this month!

Tome Topple: I feel like there isn’t much to say here. I read 1 tome, which is one of the main challenges so I’m content. It was unfortunate that I had difficult circumstances during this exciting readathon but the fact that I managed to finish one tome from it is super rewarding. I can’t wait for the next round!

Spring Wrap-Up: Looking back at that Spring TBR, it honestly just went down the drain and I couldn’t stick to having a simple seasonal tbr. It was worth a try! I only managed to do my entire Throne of Glass reread/binge from that spring TBR but I’m still so proud. I’m so sick of how I can put pressure on myself to read these days. I shouldn’t be and no one should be either. Reading is for enjoyment and hell if I’m becoming a moodier reader, it’s better late than never!

How did you go with your reading in this month of November? I can’t believe it’s the end of the year! I’m getting my blogging mojo back on and I’ve got some exciting plans for December, so look out for my posts 😀 Apologies if you get spammed with automatic WordPress emails, I know they’re a pain for me too sometimes.

Until next time,

xx Tracy
