Hey Everyone! It has been a little while since I’ve been active and blogging (more on that in another post) but I’m BACK! And what better way to start off the year of 2019 than with the awesome Winter Biannual Bibliothon that I am so so proud to have been chosen as a blog host this round.
If you didn’t know much about the Biannual Bibliothon like myself before I became a host, here’s a quick rundown.
This round of the winter Biannual Bibliothon runs from January 12th to January 18th. There are a bunch of awesome reading challenges as well as video challenges and of course, I’m the first to kick off the blog challenges today.
Before we begin the TBR planning process and the challenge, let’s look at the reading challenges for this bibliothon:
1. Read the Group Book Empress of All Seasons by Emiko Jean
2. Read one of the hosts’ 5 star reads
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Eliza and her Monsters by Franchesca Zappia
Summer of Salt by Katrina Leno
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Emergency Contact by Mary HK Choy
3. Read a book that got you into reading
4. Read an adult genre
5. Combine your favorite genre with your least favorite format or the opposite
6. Read a book with a cover you don’t like
7. Read a book by an author you’ve never read before
–
I don’t know about you but those are some great challenges for a packed TBR and I know I’ll be trying my best to get through as many as I can (and out of this great slump!)

BLOG CHALLENGE TIME!
I will be the blog host for DAY 1 on Saturday January 12th and I’m super excited to tell you my challenge:
*drumroll*
CHALLENGE:
Name 3 book characters, 2 types of food/drink and 1 song you’d want to have to survive being in a car with, in the middle of nowhere during a snow storm.
Example:
I wouldn’t mind being stuck with Rhys (ACOTAR), Kaz Brekker (SoC) and Lazlo Strange (Strange the Dreamer), with marshmallows and hot chocolate while listening to ddu-du ddu-du by BLACKPINK during a long snow storm in a car in the middle of nowhere. How fun 😛
RULES:
Leave a comment with the link to your blog post by 11:59 PM PST Time.
Be as creative and fun as you can
THE GRAND PRIZE:
Okay, it’s not a grand prize but you can win a book worth up to $20 from Book Depository! The incentive is pretty real if it was me, just saying.
–
I’m really looking forward to this readathon and I can’t wait to organise my TBR, host the blog challenge next week (JANUARY 12th REMEMBER OKAY) and I’ll also be doing Twitter sprints!
Are you hyped? Will you participate?? Let me know in the comments.
Until next time,
xx Tracy
