I had the honour of being a blog host for the Winter Biannual Bibliothon this year and for once, I did not put a whole lot of pressure on myself to read a LOT of books. I had a small tbr, which I changed pretty quickly just according to my mood and what I wanted to read and I ended up doing pretty well.
To all the wonderful bloggers who entered my blog challenge, look out for the official Biannual Bibliothon Instagram where I’ll announce the winner this weekend! I’m so excited, there were so many lovely entries.
So my initial TBR for the winter Biannual Bibliothon was:
Vicious by V.E. Schwab – A book in the Adult Genre & from an author that I’ve never read before
Imprison the Sky by A.C Gaughen – A book with a cover I don’t particularly like.
— both of which I DID NOT read…whoops.
I actually ended up reading:
Emergency Contact by Mary K. Choi (Which actually counts as a challenge for the bibliothon as it was one of the recommended 5 star reads!!)
First & Then by Emma Mills
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Of Poseidon by Anna Banks (which counts as the challenge to read a book from an author I’ve never read before!)
Considering how much of a slump I have been the past two months, I was pretty amazed as to how many books I managed to read in a week! I managed to complete 2 challenges (albeit sneakily) and that’s something I can be proud of. I’m embracing my mood reading style this year and putting less pressure on having to read a certain amount of books. One step at a time works just fine.
I’m currently reading the sequel to Eragon; Eldest by Christopher Paolini and it’s going pretty good so far.
This post feels super informal, but since I’ve been gone I’ve noticed how I’m not talking to a lot of people anymore and I really want some conversation back.
So how are you? What are you reading? Let’s chat 🙂 I’ve missed you all!
xx Tracy

Great job! I’m attempting a reading challenge next month – contemporary-a-thon and it looks pretty fun. Hopefully I’ll do as good as you have!!
