February Wrap-Up & March TBR

February Wrap-Up & March TBR

It’s MARCH ALREADY?? The year is flying past and there are still so many books on my TBR to read (perpetually stuck between happy ^_^ and sad T_T cause the TBR is never going down but more stories to read, the better).

Feb was not the greatest reading month for me. Despite having a big break from uni this month, I was so unproductive and somehow busy, yet not? I also was very unwell for a little while which sucks so it’s all about playing the catch-up game now.

The highlight of February for this blog, however, was the BLOGIFUL blog design event, my blogger friend Kat and I did and my design shop just opened! You can find all those posts in one of the dropdown menus if you haven’t checked them out already. Although I was sick, I really got my design mojo back somehow…just not my reading mojo 😛

Although this reading month was smol, I’ll say that it was mighty as I managed to read a chunk of the ARCs waiting to be read that I was kindly sent by publishers in exchange for an honest review – so all the books below have or will have a review coming out very soon.

Here are the books I read in February of 2019!

Total Books: 3

Total Pages: 1,216

A Curse So Dark & Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

★★(4.75/5) | REVIEW

What Momma Left Me by Renée Watson

☆☆(2.5/5) | RTC

Enchantée by Gita Trelease

★★(4.5/5) | RTC

So, it wasn’t too bad y’know. Could’ve read more but the fact that I read 3 is alright, I’m proud of that. It was also 3/5 of the books I actually planned to read in my February TBR so that’s also good!

Now it’s time to figure out what I’ll read in March – eek – I’ve been in such a whirlwind and chaotic mood that it’s been so hard to pick a book so here is a short and small TBR that I think is pretty achievable for me.

My March TBR

The Wicked King by Holly Black – I WILL get to this new release, and I’ve decided I’m too lazy to reread the first book so I’ll watch a spoilery review on BookTube or just HMU if you’re a huge fan and want to give me a quick recap!

The Flower Girls by Alice Clark-Platts – This cool review copy is what I’m currently reading (and finishing soon) and I’m amazed as to how much of a Mystery/Thriller mood I’m in that I’m really enjoying this! It’s also an adult which I don’t read often (omg am I getting old…O_O my reading tastes are changing – help).

Famous In A Small Town by Emma Mills – A highly anticipated YA contemporary release that I just picked up at my local bookstore yesterday! I loved Foolish Hearts and First & Then, so I don’t doubt that Emma Mills will again impress me.

Morning Star by Pierce Brown – Will I finally finish this trilogy? Who knows but I do want to once I’m back in the mood for fantasy. I’ve started it so it’s just about finishing this beauty.

Eldest by Christopher Paolini – Another book that I’ve been ‘reading’ for over a month now. Once I get back into an epic fantasy mood (which I hopefully will this month), I want to smash out this sequel.

And that is it for my March TBR!

How did you go in February? And what are you planning to read this month? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,
