While this isn’t a traditional discussion post, I feel like many bookworms tend to discuss what books they’re looking forward to, so here are mine!
It’s unfortunate but also kind of good that my list of anticipated releases for 2020 is so short. I don’t plan on buying a lot of books this year so that I can concentrate on my physical TBR so this is definitely helpful but of course, there are a select few books I’d love to get my hands on when they come out in 2020.

The Map from Here to There by Emery Lord
You could say that I’m a fan of Emery since I’ve read two of her books and loved them, so, of course, I’m looking forward to her latest release which will hopefully but as good as her previous novels. Gotta love fluffy contemporaries.
Out January 7th 2020 (tomorrow!)

Chain of Gold
by Cassandra Clare
It’s honestly become my biggest reading goal to finally reread the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices so that I can start the Dark Artifices trilogy SO THAT I can get to this one (since I own them all). I just know I’m going to love the Dark Artifices but I want to read this series in order. I shall be starting my reread soon so that I can get to Chain of Gold once it comes out!
Out March 3rd 2020

Unravel the Dusk
by Elizabeth Lim
There isn’t much to say about this new release since I loved the first book so of course, I’m looking forward to the sequel.
Out July 7th 2020

Forest of Souls
by Lori M. Lee
I didn’t know about this one until recently but boy does this book sound like fun. A beautiful book with tales of destiny and sisterhood, written by an Asian author? Sign me up!
Out June 23rd 2020

Loveless by Alice Oseman
My last anticipated read is another YA contemporary that is bound to catch my heart. I’ve read a novel by Alice before and enjoyed it and hope to also read her other books since everyone seems to cry when they read them and we all know a good cry from a great book is needed every once in a while.
Out July 9th 2020

House of Blood and Earth
by Sarah J. Maas
No matter how much drama came out of Throne of Glass or ACOTAR, I’m trash for Sarah’s writing and I can’t wait for her Adult debut! This sounds so fun with more fae and magic and fallen angels; like yes, I want it!
Out March 3rd 2020
So, what did you think of my anticipated releases for 2020? Are some of them on your list too?
Have a great first week of the year!
