    December & 2020 Wrap-Up, 2021 Goals + January/Summerween TBR

As I mentioned in my latest life update, the excruciating lockdown Melbourne was in for over 2 months finally ended and I had to let myself relax because socialising was a thing again! Not to mention that the Christmas season is insane when you have a big family. So I didn’t read much in December but I’m overall super proud of myself for my reading this year. Even if blogging took a back-burner sometimes, I don’t feel bad about it either and something 2020 taught me is to let go and enjoy reading and blogging for what they are: hobbies. I’m not going to be taking things too seriously or…

November Wrap-Up & My TBR For the Rest of 2020

So, November went by too fast. Work and uni were super busy and Melbourne finally came out of lockdown so my SO and I were able to go out, see friends and get basically all our Christmas shopping done early (yes I’m always early). That meant that I was exhausted and super tired most of the time. I wrote a bit about my life update in my previous post right here if you’re interested. With that, I didn’t read much but that’s okay. It felt like so little because I had gotten used to reading 10-13 books a month in the last 3 months but my total for November was…

October Wrap-Up | November TBR & Plan With Me

This month, like every other month this year has flown by. I can’t believe that we’re already in November and I have Christmas presents to worry about! It’s insane. Somehow, my reading this ended up being pretty good even though I struggle through a reading slump for most of it. To get out of my reading slump, I did lots of self care and just took a break from reading then did a small readathon for myself. If you joined me in the readathon on Instagram – thanks! I hope you got lots of reading out of it; I surprisingly did. What I Read In October As I said, it…

September Wrap Up & October TBR

I don’t know whether it’s this pandemic and the immense uncertainty in the air, or just the fact that I’ve been indoors for perhaps far too long of a time – but time has been flying by and yet not. It is a very screwed up construct right now and holy macaroni – It’s OCTOBER. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t using reading as a distraction as well as a hobby because I have. September was again, another successful reading month. I beat my personal page goal and I just feel proud of myself for enjoying what I’m reading. I didn’t DNF a single book and I thoroughly…

August Wrap Up & September TBR

August was such a huge month for me! Not just because I was stuck inside in Stage 4 lockdown (panicked peace signs everywhereee), but also because I read so much! I was smashing books left and right and completed my first successful readathons in a LONG time. I haven’t felt so inspired to read in so long and I’ve been super motivated to blog heaps too, so look out for more posts this month. Oh, and before I forget, I managed to smash my Goodreads challenge of 50 this month which was AMAZING. I’m hella proud of myself. This month, I participated in the Tome Topple readathon, where I read…

July Wrap Up & August TBR

And with that, July ended. Wow, this month has flown by. I thought that time would be slowing as most of us are stuck inside. I have been working from home, studying from home and doing my hobbies from home with occasional walks outside to grab a coffee down the road and buying my groceries once a week. It’s been weird. Work was super busy and I was feeling a bit stressed that I ended up taking a couple of days off, but I somehow managed to read way more than I have in any other month so far this year and that’s kind of amazing. When I haven’t been…

May Wrap-Up & June TBR | Bullet Journal Snippet

May seriously flew by so quickly. I feel really proud of myself for this month because I was really enjoying reading and it was fun! I haven’t felt this sincere joy for reading for pleasure in a while and I think it’s a good sign that my productivity and inspiration is back. I even did an instagram photoshoot for the first time in ages! Go me 🙂 Quick Disclaimer/Announcement Unfortunately, at the moment, these are still grim times for the world. My heart goes out to everyone in the POC community, particularly the Indigenous Australians and black people of the world who have had to deal with so much injustice…

January Wrap-Up, February TBR & Bullet Journal | Bujo Snippets

Oh my goodness, January is already gone! 2020 is already flying past and this month I am super proud of how much I read and the new spreads I created in my bullet journal. Since you guys liked seeing my spreads so much last time, I figured I’d regularly post these Bujo snippets to show my wrap-up, TBR and setup for the month. Speaking of my bullet journal… Like I mentioned last time, I own an Archer & Olive B6 dotted bullet journal, and my journey in bullet journalling basically took a turn because when I went on my holiday to Korea, I found this gorgeous planner. A planner so…

    2019 Wrap-Up, #YARC2019 Results & 2020 Goals

Happy New Year! 2019 is over, and what a wrap-up I’ve got in store for you. There is so much to talk about because so much happened this year. I graduated from university and somehow managed to read 55 books, on and off keep blogging and do so much more – so here is my 2019 wrap-up. My Reading in 2019 It was definitely hard to keep myself reading this year. I was struggling with mental health and really didn’t feel like it much for like 80% of the year. The fact that I achieved my goal of 50 books is kind of amazing to me and I’m so proud…
