Tome Topple Readathon Update | The Halfway Mark

Hi 😀   I am halfway through the Tome Topple Readathon and boy, I am failing. Remember how I had like…5 books on my tbr? I’m only halfway through the first book The Unexpected Everything. I’m pretty disappointed but I’ve had some personal circumstances and work that kind of seriously impeded on my reading and blogging (I’m sorry for being absent, I’m half hating it cause I want to be publishing the reviews I’ve half written but also half loving it cause who doesn’t love a bit of a social media detox :P). It’s not over yet! I’ve got one more week to hopefully finish one more book 🙂 This…

3 Tomes I Own & Want to Read | Let the Tome Topple Readathon Begin!

The Tome Topple Readathon begins tonight! …and I have failed my goal to read certain books before this deadline. Why didn’t I see this coming? xD I have put Nevermoor on hold and I’m trying to get through Clockwork Angel asap, but never fear! I am starting the lovely readathon with the gorgeous contemporary by Morgan Matson – The Unexpected Everything. ANYWAY – to celebrate the start of the readathon, here are 3 TOMES I OWN and really do want to read, no matter how many times they get pushed down the tbr hole. Do you own a lot of books with over 500 pages though? Let me know in…

    Tome Topple Readathon TBR

IM DOING A READATHON!!! I’ve wanted to participate in the Tome Topple Readathon for a while now and finally, the time has come. I’m so excited! If you don’t know what the Tome Topple Readathon is about, it’s basically a readathon created by the booktuber Thoughts on Tomes that was created to encourage people to read BIG BOOKS. We can all get very intimidated by massive books and I love that this readathon promotes tomes. The main challenge for this readathon is to read books that are over 500 pages, so all the books on my tbr are over 500 pages! This is the 7th round of this readathon and…

    Booktubeathon 2018 Wrap-Up

Hey Guys! The Booktubeathon is basically over for me now, and I’m happy and proud yet a little sad with how I went. Let’s check out how many books I read. I read a total of 4 out of 7 books in my TBR including: I am Number 4 by Pittacus Lore Autoboyography by Christina Lauren Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray Total Page Count: 1,495 pages I’m personally a bit disappointed because I started off so well, reading the first two books in two days, and almost caught up by finishing the last two books on Friday. Unfortunately, I had to priorities…

    Booktubeathon Reading Update

Hello! It’s currently Day 4 in the Booktubeathon, so I thought I’d do a quick update since we’re basically halfway now (in my timezone in Australia anyway). Here is a little summary of how I’ve been going with the challenge. DAY 1 I was very sleep deprived the next day but I finished my first book I Am Number Four on Day 1 *cheers* YAY. I was pretty proud of myself for pushing my reading so much cause honestly, it wasn’t as fun compared to reading it the first time when I was like 15…Another case of “I thought it was so good when I was younger”. I mean, the…

Hey hey! First off, let me tell you how much I love the annual Booktubeathon. I did it for the first time in 2017 and it was my first time doing any kind of real readathon where I was super dedicated. If you don’t know what Booktubeathon is about, it’s basically a readathon to help encourage more reading. There are 7 challenges and the last challenge is always to read 7 books. So that means trying to read 7 books in 7 days! Crazy, I know. I actually can’t remember if I finished 7 books last year but I know I really enjoyed it. Not just because it was fun…
