July Wrap Up & August TBR

And with that, July ended. Wow, this month has flown by. I thought that time would be slowing as most of us are stuck inside. I have been working from home, studying from home and doing my hobbies from home with occasional walks outside to grab a coffee down the road and buying my groceries once a week. It’s been weird. Work was super busy and I was feeling a bit stressed that I ended up taking a couple of days off, but I somehow managed to read way more than I have in any other month so far this year and that’s kind of amazing. When I haven’t been…

May Wrap-Up & June TBR | Bullet Journal Snippet

May seriously flew by so quickly. I feel really proud of myself for this month because I was really enjoying reading and it was fun! I haven’t felt this sincere joy for reading for pleasure in a while and I think it’s a good sign that my productivity and inspiration is back. I even did an instagram photoshoot for the first time in ages! Go me 🙂 Quick Disclaimer/Announcement Unfortunately, at the moment, these are still grim times for the world. My heart goes out to everyone in the POC community, particularly the Indigenous Australians and black people of the world who have had to deal with so much injustice…

January Wrap-Up, February TBR & Bullet Journal | Bujo Snippets

Oh my goodness, January is already gone! 2020 is already flying past and this month I am super proud of how much I read and the new spreads I created in my bullet journal. Since you guys liked seeing my spreads so much last time, I figured I’d regularly post these Bujo snippets to show my wrap-up, TBR and setup for the month. Speaking of my bullet journal… Like I mentioned last time, I own an Archer & Olive B6 dotted bullet journal, and my journey in bullet journalling basically took a turn because when I went on my holiday to Korea, I found this gorgeous planner. A planner so…

My January TBR | Bujo Snippet

What better way to show you guys my TBR than to give a quick snapshot of my bookish bullet journal? In case you missed it on my Instagram story earlier this week, here it is 🙂 I’m so excited to get into these books after I finish my current reads. At the moment, I’m finishing up Ninth House and I’ve been listening to the audiobook of The Devouring Gray which is so great so far. What are you reading and what’s on your TBR for this month? Do you guys like these TBR bullet journal snippets or a traditional TBR post? Let me know,

    My December TBR

I cannot believe that it’s already December! I’m writing this the day after I have finally reached my Goodreads reading challenge – which is an amazing feat considering the crazy year I’ve had. I was trying so hard to finish Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston before the clock ticked over to from November to December but alas, I finished it yesterday on the 3rd of December. I’m honestly just glad that I finished it, I’ll be honest in that I wasn’t really enjoying it and only forced myself to keep going because a friend of mine said I’d warm up to it. Despite all that, it is…

    1st Blogiversary, Life Update & Reading Rush FAILURE | June/July Wrap-Up

HELLO! I hope all of you have been well. I haven’t been posting again for a couple of weeks because of a few things, but first to start with a bang – HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY TO ME!!! I cannot believe that I’ve been blogging for a whole year already – like it’s crazy! To be fair, I’ve taken a lot of breaks but at the end of the day and what’s also my goal and hope for this blog is that while consistency and routine are nice, I want to blog and review books and open discussions when I want to and most importantly when I can. Health should always come…

July: The Readathon Month | The Final Biannual Bibliothon & The Reading Rush TBR I cannot help myself okay. I just love challenges and being ambitious and pushing myself, and even though I’ve told myself – just chill, don’t try to stress yourself by doing readathons – I CANNOT help myself. I will now be attempting to do two readathons this July. Hence, my July TBR will consist of the TBRs for these two lovely readathons. what am I doing to myself The first readathon is the Biannual Bibliothon! I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers involved in the last round and this time, this is the…

    April/Magical Readathon Wrap-Up & June TBR

April/Magical Readathon Wrap-Up & June/July TBR WOW am I late to do a wrap for April but in case you missed it, I went on a bit of a hiatus in May because of physical, mental health and just life (mostly uni) being an absolute b!tch, and at halfway through June, I’m back! My uni semester is donezo and I’ve never been more relieved. I also took a hiatus from anything book related online including Instagram and Twitter – I basically disappeared for a while and kinda loved it. I am officially back to blogging and on socials but I doubt I’ll be as active as I used to be,…

    March Wrap-Up & April TBR

March Wrap-Up  & April TBR   Well, March went by pretty quickly! It was so busy; I started my university semester (studying writing and editing for the first time eek) and my workload at work almost doubled. Between those two as well as juggling my mental health and design side-projects, it’s been a little unreal. I didn’t read as much as I’d liked and once again I’ve had to put down the two big books I’ve been ‘currently reading’ for months (Eldest & Morning Star) but eventually, I’ll get to finish them 🙂 – probably in May since I’m doing a month-long readathon whoops. I’ve also been doing graphic banners…

O.W.L.’s Magical Readathon 2019 TBR   ~ Right when I was saying to everyone, “oh, I don’t think I’m ready to do a readathon anytime soon.” *enters the YARC2019 and the Magical Readathon 2019* Mmm… That’s right, today I decided, quite randomly, that I’ll give this Readathon a try. I love Harry Potter and I love the idea of taking Wizarding exams so here I go! This readathon starts off with O.W.L.’s, the exam period being between the 1st and the 31st April, then N.E.W.T.’s which is between the 1st and 30th of August. I am determined to become the Wizarding Career I have chosen for myself, and that is…a Potioneer!…
